No-confidence motion: Both Houses of Parliament were adjourned without transacting any business on Tuesday. The three no-confidence motions against the Narendra Modi-led NDA government were not moved in the Lok Sabha.

The Lok Sabha too has now been adjourned following the unprecedented ruckus in the House even as External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj rose to inform the Parliament about the unfortunate killing of 39 Indians kidnapped by the ISIS in Iraq’s Mosul. Despite repeated requests for quiet so that she could speak on the sensitive issue.
