Live: Hurricane Irma makes landfall in Florida

Hurricane Irma is bearing down on the west coast of Florida as a Category 2 storm, packing maximum sustained winds of 110 mph, making landfall at Marco Island after crossing the Florida Keys earlier Sunday. The storm already thrashed much of the Caribbean, killing at least 20 people dead and a trail of devastation in its path. Three people were reportedly killed in Florida as a result of the storm.
