New Delhi, Nov 22: Voting for the first phase of the Uttar Pradesh civic body elections began on Wednesday across 24 districts at 7 AM and will continue till 5 PM amid tight security. The remaining phases would be held on November 26 and 29, and the counting of votes for all the phases would be held on December 1. Results would be declared on the same day. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cast his vote at a polling booth in Gorakhpur on Wednesday.
Amid the increasing row over Padmavati, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh came out in support of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. “I am with bhansali 200% on this issue. It is very sensitive time.
