One Direction heartthrob Liam Payne was unrecognisable as he revealed his lockdown look.

The Strip That Down singer has transformed during the coronavirus pandemic, and is now sporting a much fuller beard than before.

His hair has been getting longer in recent weeks and is now hanging around his face in long waves.

Payne showed off his new look in a video on Instagram that stunned fans, with many joking that he now looks like Jesus.

“LOOK AT THAT HAIR BROTHER!!!!!!” one fan said on Instagram, while another quipped: “Liam Jesus Payne.”

“He look like Jesus ahahaha I love u Payno,” said one follower, while another jokingly asked: “Is he Liam Payne or Jesus Christ?”

Another fan said that the star was “giving low key Jesus vibes”.

Jesus-like or not, Payne’s lockdown look definitely got the thumbs up from his army of devoted followers.

“Liam you are making 2021 a good year already,” one person enthused on Instagram, while others said they loved his fresh image.

“Sir your hair is so gorgeous,” gushed another, while one said he looked “amazing”.

Payne, 27, has previously spoken out about how the coronavirus pandemic has had an impact on him, sharing last year that it has meant time away from his son Bear.

The singer is co-parenting the three-year-old with his former flame Cheryl.

Opening up about it in an interview with Tings magazine late last year, he said: “[Lockdown] it's the longest I haven't seen him in his life.

“But we discussed from the start and for different reasons, me and Cheryl decided I should be away for a little bit, it's not unusual for me to be in and out of his life.”
