Real Kashmir will eye full points when they take on relegation-threatened Gokulam Kerala FC on Wednesday in Srinagar.

Under David Robertson’s tutelage, Real Kashmir have been in exceptional form in their maiden season in the top tier of Indian football and are very much in the race to win the I-League season even after 14 rounds.

They come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against fellow title challengers Churchill Brothers in Goa. Kashmir had taken the lead in that game but were denied by an equaliser from Willis Plaza.

Real Kashmir have been in good form against fellow title challengers. They have beaten Chennai City twice and have drawn against Churchill Brothers twice. They have also held East Bengal once in Kolkata.

Having already played 15 matches, Real Kashmir need to win as many games as possible in the remaining five games.

David Robertson missed the services of star strikers Gnohere Krizo and Abednego Tetteh due to suspensions in the last match but both the players are likely to return against Gokulam.

Minerva Punjab Gokulam Kerala I-League

Since Gift Raikhan’s arrival as the technical director of the club, Gokulam have managed two draws in as many matches.

The performance of the team has improved a lot since the reins of the team was handed over to Raikhan and it showed in their 2-2 draw against Mohun Bagan last week.

Gokulam commanded proceedings for the majority of the game and were very close to win only to be denied by an Aser Dipanda equaliser.

Last year, around this time, Gokulam managed to stave off the relegation threat by going on a giant-killing spree and had a big say on the title race. Can they repeat their herioics from last season?

An exciting clash is on the cards as both teams will be desperate for three points. While Kashmir need the win to remain in the title hunt, Kerala FC will want to climb up the table in order to avoid relegation.
