GAME PREVIEW

Chennai City FC have made a winning start to their season campaign with a 4-1 result over the young Indian Arrows' side. Spanish forward Pedro Manzi was the star performer with a hat-trick while Alexander Jesuraj also found the back of the net.

Nestor Gordillo and Manzi are the two key players for the Coimbatore-based side. Gordillo is the playmaker in midfield while Manzi's finishing skills is a threat for any team.

However, the side will have a proper test against Churchill Brothers on Thursday who have several decent players.

Minerva Punjab vs Churchill Brothers Dawda Ceesay

The visitors from Goa are coming on the back of a listless draw against defending champions Minerva Punjab in their first match of the season. There were hardly any chances in the game but Churchill Brothers did appear to dominate the proceedings. They will hope to build on that against Chennai City.

The Goans will also rely on the foreign pairing of Hussein Eldor and Nenad Novakovic at the heart of their defence.

Petre Gigiu's side needs to convert whatever they chances they create if they are to notch their first win of the season on Thursday.

Can Manzi and Co. find a way past a resolute Churchill Brothers, or will the Red Machines come on top?
