Israeli Military Confirms It Conducted Syria Air Strike

A teenager was killed and another critically injured on Monday in a mysterious explosion in the border area of Gurez in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district.

Police sources said 16-year-old Amjad was killed and Ishtiyaq Ahmad was critically injured when they fiddled with an explosive device while playing in a forest near Chuntiwari village.

3 ISIS and Lej Terrorists Arrested in Pakistan

Three terrorists belonging to the Islamic State (IS) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) militant groups have been arrested by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials in Pakistan's Punjab province.

According the police, separate teams raided whereabouts of the suspected terrorists in D G Khan and Sialkot districts and arrested the three terrorists on 26 May.

Bengal Govt Reinstates Top Cops Transferred by EC

The West Bengal Government has reinstated Anuj Sharma as Kolkata Police Commissioner and other top police officers who were transferred by the Election Commission (EC).

Sharma who was posted as Additional Director General (ADG) and IGP has been directed to take charge from the outgoing officer Rajesh Kumar. Bidhannagar Commissioner of Police, Gyanwant Singh, who was replaced by N Ramesh Babu, has been given back his charge.

Rajesh Kumar and Ramesh Babu have been sent on compulsory waiting for further posting orders.
