A fire broke out at a hotel in central Delhi's Karol Bagh area on Tuesday night, a Delhi Fire Service official said. A call about the blaze was received at 10.48 pm, following which eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot, he said. Efforts are being made to douse the flames, the official added.

IED Seized, Three Arrested in Manipur

Acting on a tip-off, Manipur police commandos had conducted checking of vehicles on the Moreh-Imphal highway on Monday and seized eight 1.5 volt batteries, which are used to make detonators, from a car and arrested the two occupants, Imphal West district Superintendent of Police K Meghachandra told reporters.
