Lata and Asha have wished for Vinod Khanna's speedy recovery

Vinod Khanna was admitted to to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Girgaon, Mumbai on March 31 due to severe dehydration. And ever since his photo from the hospital went viral on the internet, everyone has been quite worried about his health. Recently Irrfan Khan hoped for Khanna to get well soon and now veteran actress Asha Parekh and legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar have also wished a speedy recovery to the ailing actor-politician. Asha, who has worked with Vinod in films like Aan Milo Sajna, Mera Gaon Mera Desh and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki in the 1970s, told IANS: “It’s a very unfortunate thing that he is not feeling well. I pray to God that he recovers very fast. He was a very handsome guy… It’s sad to know he is not keeping well.” ALSO READ: Vinod Khanna’s latest health update straight from the hospital authorities

Lata tweeted on Saturday: “My prayers and good wishes are with Shri Vinod Khanna for a speedy recovery. One of the finest artistes of our industry.” Although his leaked pic from the hospital got everyone worried, but a hospital spokesperson assured he is stable and improving through an official statement which read, “Mr. Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy.”

The 70-year-old actor was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol starrer Dilwale.
