Lamborghini Urus will be unveiled in December 2017

Lamborghini's first ever turbo-charged car, the Urus, will be globally unveiled in December 2017.

The Lamborghini Urus is a highly anticipated car as it will be Lamborghini's first turbo-charged car and only its second SUV ever. According to reports, the car will be globally revealed at Sant'Agata in Italy in December 2017.

The Lamborghini Urus utilises the same platform the underpins the new generation Audi Q7 and the Bentley Bentayga. The Urus will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine and the car will have a total power output(it will be a plug-in hybrid) in the 600 bhp range.

After its unveiling, the Lamborghini Urus will be showcased at next year's Geneva Motor Show. Deliveries to customers will start after that. The Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata will be expanded to 1,50,000 square metres to accommodate the production of the Urus.

Lamborghini are hoping to sell 3,000 units of the Urus annually, double the number of cars they sell now. They have identified USA, China, West Asia, United Kingdom, Germany and Russia as its principal markets.
