Lalu Prasad Yadav suffers minor injuries as stage collapses in Patna

Former Bihar chief minister and RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav suffered minor injuries after the dias he was sitting on during a religious event in Patna collapsed due to overcrowd.

In a video of the event, supporters are seen welcoming the minister on stage. A policeman is trying to control the crowd, but the situation is soon out of hand and the stage collapses.

The Rashtriya Janata Dal leader was attending a yagna in Digha area along with his son Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, state health minister Tej Pratap Yadav and daughter and Rajya Sabha member Misa Bharti.

Lalu Prasad Yadav told the reporters that he suffered from a minor back injury and was discharged after treatment.
