Lalit's dead dad 'prescribed' rituals, punishment
A chilling chapter has emerged in the scary saga of House of Horror in Burari. Notes accessed by India Today from one of the registers maintained by Lalit Bhatia one of the 11 Bhatia family members who allegedly hanged themselves shows how he purportedly received orders on rituals to be performed at the house from his dead Gopal Das Bhatia.
According to the notes, Gopal Das also commanded Lalit on how to punish family members who didn't follow the rituals prescribed by him properly. Lalit started writing the register found by the police inside a temple built in the house in 2015 and the frequency of his jotting down the commands increased in 2017 especially October.
God always keeps an eye on your every mistake, says one line was written by Lalit. Gopal Das commands the family members to perform Badh Puja and also scolds and punishes them if they dont obey the orders.
According to the notes, Lalit and his wife Tina were ordered to sleep on the first floor from day one of the month as punishment. Ask yourself why were you punished and the punishment could be extended. Badh Puja was kept a secret from eldest son Dinesh and his sister Sujata because they consumed non-vegetarian food.
There is a lack of cooperation in the family regarding eating. You want to commit mistakes, but don't want to mend them. You are always ready to hide your mistakes. You have been warned. Don't disobey the instructions. You don't even realise that you will be responsible for any unusual incidents in future, Lalit further writes.
A note written on December 10, 2017, says, You have to do some work stealthily and have only 108 days left. If you get permission, it's ok; otherwise, your time will end.
