Lac Standoff Breakthrough: Chinese & Indian troops begin disengagement process on Pangong Tso shores

A big development comes to light, after 270 days, in the border clash between India and China. In a big breakthrough, to resolve the nine-month-long military standoff along the Line of Actual Control, China’s Defence Ministry has announced that Indian and Chinese troops have started disengagement on the Northern and Southern shored of Pangong Tso in Ladakh.

Meanwhile, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be making a statement in the upper house of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, today, regarding the present situation in the Eastern Ladakh.
