Kunal Kemmu on web censorship: Free speech doesn't mean you can offend people

Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu speaks to HT City Entertainment Editor, Monika Rawal, about having a "bittersweet" 2020 that gave him an opportunity to put some of his best work forth including Malang, Lootcase and web series Abhay 2. He admits he was somewhere getting in this rut where he was only getting comedies, and "so when Kalank, Abhay and Malang a came my way, I was very excited." Kunal also shares his views on the burning topic of web censorship and those who exploit freedom of speech. Having started acting as a child actor in Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke (1993), the actor would be completing 30 years of being in Bollywood. Looking back, he says things were very different back then when there was no box office pressure or paparazzi culture. He further shares how spending time with his daughter Inaaya was the best part about the lockdown and as a parent, his take on this whole pap culture and star kids being in constant limelight.
