Kisan Union blame the radicals & instigators for violence in Delhi; disassociates themselves

A massive tractor rally was scheduled to take place today by the protesting farmers. Despite various rounds of talks and efforts to postpone the rally, the farmers continued with their existing plan. Borders were opened for farmers after the Republic Day parade, and what unfolded after that has shocked the nation to its very core. Alleged farmers entered the Red Fort, and hoist their saffron flag, while many others barged inside the Red Fort, forcing the police personnel to resort to lathi-charge. Close to 5,000 protestors are said to be inside the Red Fort even now, as the MHA continues to hold a high-level meeting in order to review the security situation in the National Capital. Kisan Union leaders have blamed the chaos on few anti-social elements and are claiming that they have no idea as to how this transpired.
