Kisan Netas announce 'Chakka Jam' on February 6; Delhi police gears up barricades

After expressing their unhappiness towards budget 2021, protesting Kisan netas have called for a nationwide chakka jam against the three farm laws on February 6. The govt has said that they are committed to hold talks with the farmers and end the standoff between the farmers and the Centre. Meanwhile, Delhi police have enhanced barricades at Singhu, Tikri, and Ghazipur borders. Iron spikes are being laid out and heavy metals and concrete barricades are being erected to stop farmers from entering Delhi. While the Delhi police has received a lot of criticism for taking these steps but they have said that it is essential to avoid any situation of violence.
