A short but succinct video is making the viral rounds this weekend. If you’ve ever had any doubt about why bus safety rules, laws, training, or whatever else needs to happen to make sure kids, busses, and traffic mix well, this video will very surely change your mind.
The 42-second clip reportedly recorded in Norway depicts a group of school-age children descended from a bus along a busy road. While the vehicle behind it stops when the bus pulls to the side of the road, oncoming traffic does not. Of course, kids being kids, a couple of them don’t think about that as they attempt to cross the highway. Luckily, it appears no one was hurt, but we’re pretty sure these kids won’t ever have to think twice again about waiting for the bus to leave before running into traffic again.
