Kia Seltos GT Line to soon get diesel engine option

Kia Motors is all set to launch Seltos in India on August 22. Kia Seltos has been one of the most sought after vehicles of late and is receiving tremendous response from customers. We have also been informed that GTX Plus DCT is the most popular variant of Seltos at present. Now our dealership sources have confirmed that Kia Seltos GT Line will soon have a diesel engine option.

Kia Seltos will come in Tech Line and GT Line trims. The Tech Line trim will have five variants -- HT E, HT K, HT K Plus, HT X and HT X Plus. The GT Line trim will have three variants -- GT K, GT X and GT X Plus.

The Tech Line has two engine options -- 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre VGT diesel. The petrol motor makes 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque. The diesel mill produces 115 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Both the engines are offered with a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The automatic option includes IVT in 1.5-litre petrol and 6-speed AT in 1.5-litre VGT diesel.
