Arathi is a second-year Msc. Biochemistry student of MES college. She has reportedly completed courses offered by the University of Rochester, University of Virginia, State University of New York, John Hawkins University, and more.

Studies show that the course completion rate of a MOOC is less than 10%, which makes her resolve to complete these many courses in such a short duration worthy of applause.

The pandemic had encouraged a lot of content creators to hit the online space where they could tutor students on their area of expertise from the comforts of their home. Online courses are a win-win for the tutors and the students alike.

Learning platforms like edX, Coursera, Udemy, etc. have always been popular with students and aspiring learners. You can also host your online courses on your own website through white-labeled course platforms like Teachable, Kajabi, Thinkific, Braincert, etc.

Arathi’s rare feat has even fetched her a world record from the Universal Record Forum. She has told the media that it was one of her faculty members who introduced her to the world of online courses. "With the support of my college principal Ajims P Muhammed, Coursera coordinator Haneefa K G, and class tutor Neelima T K, I managed to finish the courses I signed up for within a few weeks," she said.

Most people with a steady job had a tough time managing their work and personal time. There were even various reports of employees being forced to work overtime with the threat of a pink slip looming large over their heads. Many others who had the luxury of time binged on TV shows, movies, some even learnt to cook, while some used this opportunity to get fit. Arathi used this time to equip herself with knowledge and that too at an astonishing rate of almost four online courses every day.
