Kerala: Temple Asks Devotees to Donate Blood For ‘Abhishek’ During Celebration of Annual Festival
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 7: A temple in Vithura village of Kerala’s capital has reportedly issued a public notice appealing the devotees to donate blood to the temple ahead of the celebration of an annual festival. The blood is needed to perform ‘Abhishek’ on the festival. The ritual is scheduled for March 12.
The news comes on a day when a headless body of baby girl in Kalavakunta reservoir near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The reservoir is nearly 60 kilometres from Tirupati, police said. Police suspect that the baby might have been one-year-old.

The body of the girl was spotted by the locals. The police suspect that the baby might have been beheaded somewhere else and her body was dumped in the reservoir.
Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched to nab the alleged accused.
Earlier in February, a headless body of an infant was found on the roof of a cab driver’s house at Uppal area in Hyderabad.
