The Kerala High Court has directed the managements of CBSE schools in the State to file a statement before explaining under what circumstances is the fee being charged in 2020-2021 academic year. The court has also asked the management to explain what concessions they can offer to offer the student.
The schools across the country were shut amidst the COVID-19 outbreak and the nation-wide imposed lockdown. However, lectures were on via online platforms. The schools were previously directed to not charge fees due to the lockdown crises, yet some of the schools have distributed unnecessary fee structure. To counter this, Kerala High Court has taken the necessary step.
