Kerala: Congress leader M Ramachandran makes derogatory remark on rape survivors

Kerala Congress leader M Ramachandran has made a sickening comment on the rape survivors and said that no one can trust a woman who publicly says she has been raped. He further adds that the woman with self-esteem, who has been raped should kill herself. Kerala's leader was referring to an incident when he made this derogatory remark.

Political analyst and Lawyer Shehzad Poonawalla reacts to the same and adds that M Ramachandran is not a first-time offender and he is a Gandhi loyalist. The minister had earlier come under the scanner for calling a woman colleague as COVID queen and is once again making a sexist remark. However, the Congress party continues to remain silent on such misogynistic remarks and slurs from leaders within the party.
