Kerala CM Piranayi Vijayan to seek the Governor's assent for a special assembly session again

Kerala Government has decided to hold a special assembly session on the 31st of December after the Governor rejected their plea to do so on the 23rd of December. Chief Minister Piranayi Vijayan will be seeking the Governor's permission again.

His previous request was rejected by the Governor on the grounds that no such assembly was needed especially with the budget session already approaching on the 8th of January. The Governor fails to realize the purpose of any such meets during the time of a pandemic.

He also struggles to understand the State's outright defiance of the Centre. It is yet to be known if he'll approve of this request again.
