Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 Episode 14: Rollover Contestant Earns Rs 50 Lakh
Tuesday’s episode of Amitabh Bachchan‘s Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 started with the rollover contestant Simran. Big B explains the contestant the new rules of the game. KBC 9 sees an upgrade from last season; new rules have been introduced for the new season. There’s a new life line called ‘Jodidaar’ – where a contestant can get a partner along to answer one of the questions. The best part of this lifeline is that it is not time bound. While the one-minute ‘phone a friend’ life line has been upgraded to ‘video call a friend’, a cheque being signed by the 74-year old superstar on winning a certain amount on the game show has been replaced by digital money; the money is now transferred to the contestants’ accounts.
The contestant was well-read and knew the answers to most of the questions. Simran was very quick in answering the questions that displayed on her computer screen. While her wit earned her Rs 1,60,000 and still had one life line left, but her idea of saving that life line for the most difficult question failed her, as she guessed the wrong answer to the 10th question that could have earned her Rs 3,20,000. However, her wrong answer cost her the game and she walked out with only Rs 10,000. Sad, isn’t it? ALSO READ: (Contestants’ Over Confidence On Amitabh Bachchan’s KBC 9 Cost Them The Game)
Today’s first winner of the fastest fingers first was Rekha Devi. Rekha, who is from Haryana, is an animal lover. She has adopted 11 stray dogs. Aww. She’s definitely one of our favourite contestants, isn’t she? Rekha answered difficult questions very easily but she used to get stuck with easy questions and exhaust her lifeline over it. However, the time was up, Rekha becomes the rollover contestant.
