The royal family’s off to the races! For the first day of the 2017 Royal Ascot, an annual horse race in Berkshire, England, the Queen, Prince William, and the Duchess of Cambridge turned out in their very best looks.
The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a lacy white Alexander McQueen dress that was almost identical to a Dolce & Gabbana style she stepped out in in 2016.
Kate caused major déjà vu when she arrived in an extremely similar dress to the one she wore to the same event last year. Her Alexander McQueen dress on Tuesday had a slightly shorter hemline than the previous style, and has even been compared to her famous wedding dress.
However, while her fashion is usually the talk of any event she attends, her wardrobe choice wasn’t the most exciting part of the day.
Instead, the duchess turned good samaritan by helping another royal in need of a hand.
The mother-of-two was pictured catching Sophie, Countess of Wessex, as she lost her balance in the carriage the pair were riding in.
Although Middleton appeared shocked at first, the pair were both spotted laughing and joking shortly after.
