If Karni Sena Harasses Me, I Will Destroy Them: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is not ready to take any bullying from the Karni Sena before the release of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The Rajput organisation has reportedly threatened to protest against the release of Kangana Ranaut’s film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi based on the life story of Rani Laxmi Bai. The Karni Sena, which had created trouble and delayed the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat last year, is apparently unhappy with some scenes and the portrayal of the queen of Jhansi in Kangana Ranaut’s film.

When asked by film journalist Rohit Khilnani about her reaction to these threats by the Karni Sena, actor Kangana Ranaut responded with this: “Four historians have certified #Manikarnika, we have got censor certificate as well, #KarniSena has been conveyed this but they are continuing to harass me. If they don’t stop then they should know I am also a Rajput and I will destroy each one of them,"

This clearly shows that the actor is in no mood to give in to the pressure tactics used by the Karni Sena. According to ANI, the Maharashtra wing of Karni Sena wrote a letter to the makers of Manikarnika in which they allegedly said that if the "image of Rani Laxmi Bai is maligned in the film or if she is shown to be the lover of some Britisher then the makers will face consequences."

Clearly Kagnana is taking a much needed tough stand against the Sena by not falling for their threats as Bollywood usually does around the time of a film’s release.
