Karnataka Covid norms fouted; Huge crowds at Kateel Temple

Despite the massive surge of Covid-19 cases, all the norms are being flouted in the state of Karnataka. The second surge signals are being completely ignored and the general public will pay the price of this laxity. As per reports no mask, social distancing or other covid appropriate behaviour is being followed at the Dakshin Kannada district’s Kateel Temple where various festivities are taking place. It is also reported that the Minister of Hindu Religion Authorization has in fact wrote to the CM seeking relaxation of restrictions and norms amid this alarming spike of cases. The state is witnessing a major setback in terms of rising cases and death tolls while the religious practices take over actual lives.
