Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa tests positive for COVID-19; accompanied by staff without PPE

Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has tested positive for COVID-19. CM Yediyurappa tested positive for Covid-19 shortly after he was admitted to the MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital in Bengaluru with fever. The Karnataka Chief Minister's Office said BS Yediyurappa will be shifted to the Manipal Hospital shortly. The CM tested positive for coronavirus hours after he had chaired an emergency meeting over the COVID-19 situation in the state, at his residence earlier today. However, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa accompanied by staff without PPE kits. The shocking apathy was on display in Karnataka. This is the second time CM Yediyurappa has tested positive for COVID-19. He had first tested positive for COVID-19 on August 2 last year.
