Kareena's dig at Deepika, Priyanka: Working abroad doesn't mean anything

Kareena Kapoor Khan said that working in Hollywood does not increase the brand value of a star.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has made it clear that Hollywood may come calling, but it is Bollywood for her, all the way. While she has praised contemporary Priyanka Chopra for making India proud, Bebo seemed to take a subtle dig at her and Deepika Padukone at a recent media interaction.

"Working abroad doesn't mean anything. If one works abroad and comes back and gets a salary hike is something I don't know. It doesn't matter whether you work in Hollywood or Bollywood, your brand value is based on what and how much you deliver. And this is based on your personality. Brand is all about personality," Kareena is reported to have said when asked if an actor's brand value increases by working in the West.

While she did not take any names, Kareena's remark is believed to be directed at India's latest exports to Hollywood, Deepika and Priyanka. Deepika recently made her Hollywood debut with Vin Diesel-starrer xXx: Return of Xander Cage, while Priyanka will be seen in Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
