The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh continues to take the box office by storm. The film has earned Rs 190.64 crores at the box office since releasing on 21 June and is expected to cross Rs 200 crore in a day or two. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh called the film ‘unstoppable’ as it is all set to cross the 200 crores mark.
#KabirSingh remains unstoppable... Will breach ₹ 200 cr mark + cross *lifetime biz* of #Bharat in Week 2 itself... Next target: Surpassing *lifetime biz* of #Uri... [Week 2] Fri 12.21 cr, Sat 17.10 cr, Sun 17.84 cr, Mon 9.07 cr. Total: ₹ 190.64 cr. India biz.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) July 2, 2019
He even went to the extent of saying that it’s difficult to estimate the total business of the film.
Everyone’s guesstimating the *lifetime biz* of #KabirSingh... ₹ 250 cr? ₹ 275 cr? ₹ 300 cr? Maybe more?... #KabirSingh continues to surprise every single day, so it’s pointless arriving at a number right now... The sky is the limit, that’s all I can say at the moment.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) July 2, 2019
In the film’s second weekend, the trade analyst also noted that the film is going steady at the box office and earned Rs 12.21 crores on its second Friday.
#KabirSingh continues to weave magic at BO, despite new films cutting into the market share... Biz on [second] Fri is in double digits, which is exceptional... Will cross ₹ 150 cr today [second Sat]... [Week 2] Fri 12.21 cr. Total: ₹ 146.63 cr. India biz.— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) June 29, 2019
These figures were much higher as compared to the second Friday box office collections of other popular 2019 releases such as Uri (Rs 7.66 crore), Kesari (Rs 4.45 crore) and Bharat (Rs 4.30 crore), observed Adarsh.
#KabirSingh has the best *second Friday* of 2019... Scores higher numbers than *all* films released this year... This isn’t much of a dip from the Rs 15.91 crore that the film collected on its sixth day, which took its total collection to Rs 120.81 crore.

According to Taran, Kabir Singh has surpassed the opening weekend business of Total Dhamaal, even though Kabir Singh released in fewer screens than Total Dhamaal. Not only that, the Arjun Reddy remake has emerged as the biggest non-holiday opener of 2019.
Kabir Singh managed to rake in Rs. 70.83 crores in the first weekend of its release. A surprising feat indeed. Its business has only increased with every passing day.
Kabir Singh has also crossed the opening day figures of other 2019 films that have released on regular, non-holiday Fridays.
“ #KabirSingh is terrific on Day 1... Emerges Shahid Kapoor’s biggest opener [surpasses *Day 1* biz of #Padmaavat: ₹ 19 cr]... Biggest *non-holiday* opening day of 2019 [surpasses #TotalDhamaal: ₹ 16.50 cr]... Is a craze amongst the youth... Fri ₹ 20.21 cr. India biz.”
