K Subramanian on what the Budget 2021 will bring for the 'aam aadmi'? | Frankly Speaking

On Frankly Speaking with Navika Kumar, Indian economist and the current Chief Economic Adviser to the Government of India (CEA) Krishnamurthy Venkata Subramanian talks about the upcoming Union Budget 2021. As the focus is on the Indian economy, Subramanian had mentioned in the Economic Survey 2020-'21 that the growth is contracting in the last fiscal year by about 7.7% and now has predicted the growth for the year 2021-2022 to expect a growth of 11%. He also called the response of India's policy to the COVID pandemic as 'mature'. According to the CEA, India saved lives and has been a seeing a 'V-shaped' recovery.
