'Joint cooperation of all agencies is needed': Prakash Javadekar on curbing pollution

The pollution level of Delhi and neighboring states has deteriorated. Speaking on it, Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar said, "We are very serious on the issue of pollution. I started in 2015, for the first time, to recognize the concept of air-shade. It is not Delhi geographical boundary but is the air-shade which is impacted and for that cooperation of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi government, three MCDs, NDMC, DDA, involve of all agencies is required. So, we started the joint action plan which is short term, medium term and long term and the progress has been done." He further said, "I have always said that this is not the blame game but actually, a joint cooperation of all agencies is needed."
