Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan impact: Now, Vodafone offers 4GB free data to customers

Vodafone says the company was offering 4GB data free to its 210 million loyal customers to experience the benefits of a Data Strong Network and enjoy "unparalleled mobile internet services".

After Telecom regulatory TRAI has ordered Reliance Jio to withdraw their extension plan on Jio Prime. Jio has started Dhan Dhana Dhan offer in which Reliance Jio will give 1GB Data per day for 3 Months at Rs. 309.  Dhan Dhana Dhan offers effects on Vodafone and Vodafone is likely to give free 4GB data plan. According to the digital site, to avail, this offer one has to simply switch over to a new Vodafone Supernet 4G SIM card. If existing customers have to avail this scheme they just have to change the sim by visiting Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Mini Stores or multi-brand outlets located across Mumbai.

Vodafone offers can avail by both prepaid and post-paid users. Vodafone prepaid users can use the 4GB free data through a validity period of 10 days. Whereas, Vodafone post-paid users can use the 4GB free data until next billing date.”The free data shall be added to the customer’s data balance on upgrading to a 4G SIM,” Vodafone said in a statement added.

Mumbai business head of Vodafone India, Pushpinder Singh Gujral said the telco was proud to be a preferred telecom services provider in Mumbai with over 9 million customers in the metropolis alone.

Jio entered the market with an exciting offer of giving free unlimited data and free unlimited voice calls services from the last of  September 5. Since then, other telecom operators such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular too started offering data and voice call on cheaper rates.

Reliance Jio then started with exciting offers followed by Happy New Year offer and again the Summer Surprise Offer left their competitors stunned. Also reportedly Reliance Jio will soon enter the market by a Jio-branded laptop with 4G support. Laptops which is expected to be launched will come up with sim card slot to the left side with 4G speed. The Reliance Jio laptop will be manufactured by Foxconn.
