Jat stir: Protests called off after talks with Haryana government

The Jats have decided to postpone their tomorrow's Delhi protest after their leaders had a closed door meeting with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday. The stir has been postponed for 15 days. The All India Jat Aarakshan Sangarsh Samiti (AIJASS) had planned a massive protest in the national capital, including a "siege" to the Parliament on Monday. The Delhi Police had decided to impose prohibitory orders to prevent Jat community members from going ahead with their march to the Parliament.
