Jammu and Kashmir: Fellowship program for ten scholars per year; aid governance and policies

Jammu and Kashmir: Governor Manoj Sinha rolled out a fellowship program for the management and the engineering students and other graduate programs. The scheme is named The 'Lieutenant Governor's Sustainable Development Fellowship (LGSDF), which is supposed to be funded by the J&K government in collaboration with the IIT. Jammu will be focusing on providing catalytic support to improve the government service delivery, gathering valuable insights, and removing the policy gaps. The students will be selected based on the GATE, NET, and MAT scores, which the officials have informed. The initial tenure will be for two years, but gradually, it will extend for another year, and the total would be three years.
