Jammu & Kashmir: 40 Oxygen cylinders go missing from a hospital in Kupwara; probe initiated

India is reeling under the shortage of medical supplies and oxygen amid the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 in the country. After Delhi, several states raised SOS alarms for medical oxygen after reporting an acute shortage. Now, Jammu & Kashmir's Kupwara district hospital has reported that 40 oxygen cylinders have been gone missing. A probe has been initiated in this regard and three employees have been suspended so far. The hospital authorities were taken into account after taking the total number of oxygen cylinders into count and when this audit was being conducted, it was discovered that 40 cylinders are missing. Further action in this case is awaited
