Mumbai, Oct. 17 -- For the shoot of the last remaining song in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, director Yash Chopra had a grand vision: a sari-clad Katrina Kaif romancing Shah Rukh Khan in the lush meadows of the Swiss Alps. But unfortunately, his illness, caused by a bout of dengue, stymied the plan for the song, which would have reflected his trademark directorial style.
According to a source at Yash Raj Studios, Chopra's trip to Switzerland with SRK and Katrina had to be cancelled after he was admitted to Lilavati hospital on Saturday.
"We were supposed to fly to Switzerland by the last week of this month to shoot the song. But now the trip has been cancelled," says an insider.
He adds that the chances of the video being shot minus the filmmaker helming it are bleak. "It doesn't seem as though the video will be shot at all since the film is set for release next month," says the insider.
However, Rafiq Gangjee, vice president marketing and communications, Yash Raj Films, maintains that the shoot is only postponed for now. "The Switzerland schedule has been postponed and we will plan it again as soon as is possible."
About the filmmaker's health, he says, "He is doing fine, though he is still in the hospital."
