J-K police arrest two, recover massive haul of drugs

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday arrested two persons and recovered a massive haul of banned drugs from state's Anantnag district. Giving details, Senior Superintendent of Police Zubair Ahmed Khan said more than 4, 600 bottles of Codeine Phosphate have been recovered from the two. Khan further urged the people to fight against the illicit drug menace. The police have open rehabilitation centers for the youth who are shackled around drug addiction, and more than 800 people are already admitted into these rehabilitation centres.
