Ivins, Phillips & Barker (IPB), a national tax, benefits and compensation, and estate planning law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin McGlinchey, most recently the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Accudyne Industries/Sundyne, as Of Counsel in Dallas.
"We are thrilled to have Kevin joining our firm," said Eric Fox, Managing Partner of IPB. "His background as a General Counsel (GC) and years of legal experience will be a valuable asset to our clients, both in the growing Texas market and nationwide."
McGlinchey began his career in 1990, practicing employee benefits, traditional labor law, and employment law. In his new role as the first IPB attorney located in Dallas, McGlinchey’s practice focuses on employee benefits and executive compensation.
"Having spent nearly 15 years as a GC and 25 years in-house, I recognize the importance of understanding my clients’ businesses and their objectives and using my experience to assist in achieving them," said McGlinchey. "I have had the pleasure of working with a number of the lawyers at IPB throughout my in-house career and without question, I have found their legal capabilities to be top-notch. I’m excited to partner with a firm of IPB’s quality and reputation in the service of our clients."
