NorthEast United are set to face league leaders Bengaluru FC as Eelco Schattorie will look to close down the gap at the top. The Highlanders are coming on the back of a 0-0 draw against Jamshedpur FC. Schattorie didn't go all out in search of a win as his players looked tired thanks to their fixture congestion.

The onus will be on NorthEast to take three points on home soil as they look to gather as many points as possible before the ISL enters its third break.

Juan Mascia has been in great form lately and there is a good chance that he will be included in the starting line-up. Rowllin Borges has been given a free role in attack as the Indian midfielder links up with Federico Gallego and Bartholomew Ogbeche.

Pawan Kumar has so far given a decent account of himself in between the sticks which has kept T.P.Rehenesh out of the line-up.

Carles Cuadrat Bengaluru FC

Bengaluru FC are the only team to remain unbeaten in the ongoing season. They can not only better their own winning streak of six matches but another two games unbeaten would help the club equal their own record (10) from the previous term.

Bengaluru have won their last five games by a goal's margin since the 3-0 win over FC Pune City in October. With the prolific Miku still ruled out with injury, Udanta Singh has scored in back-to-back games while Rahul Bheke has also joined the likes of Sunil Chhetri in finding the back of the net on crucial.

Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has  been immense in between the sticks and deserves a lot of credit for Bengaluru having the meanest defence in the league - six.

Can NorthEast end Bengaluru’s unbeaten run or will Cuadrat’s side continue their fantastic start to the season?
