Delhi Dynamos will have wind their sails after registering a 2-0 win over Kerala Blasters last week after the Indian Super League (ISL) resumed.

Despite missing the services of Marti Crespi and Adria Carmona due to injuries, Josep Gombau’s side put up a strong performance against Kerala. Lallianzuala Chhangte’s pace will come in handy as he will look to stretch the Goan full-backs.

The team are mirroring the previous season where they dropped out of the top-four race in the first half before a second half surge saw them avoid the wooden spoon. After two wins in a row, Delhi are finally looking to climb the table and finish as high as they can.

Gombau will hope that Gianni Zuiverloon continues his impressive performances at the heart of the defence while also contributing up front. He needs to be at the top of his game against Goa.

FC Goa

Goa, who are placed third on the ISL table, will look to add another three points and do the double over Delhi. Three points would further strengthen their case to qualify for the play-offs for the fourth time in five seasons.

Ferran Corominas has 11 goals in his kitty and is the leading scorer in the race for the Golden Boot. He will certainly prove to be a handful for Dynamos’ defence who will be without Crespi.

Edu Bedia and Ahmed Jahouh will pull the strings from the middle of the park as Goa are known to see more of the ball. Mohammad Nawaz has been an excellent addition to the side as the young goalkeeper has hardly put a foot wrong this season.

Sergio Lobera will want his team to take the game to the opposition from the onset in order to put Dynamos under pressure and also look to extend their superior goal difference.
