Ajay Devgn has been facing a lot of flak from Tanushree Dutta and Vinta Nanda for working with Alok Nath in De De Pyaar De. Now, Tanushree Dutta’s sister Ishita has spoken out about the situation. Ishita has worked with Ajay Devgn in Drishyam.
“I understand that this could land me in a precarious situation, but what’s right is right. My sister is supporting the truth. My equation with Ajay sir does not bear any connection with what my sister feels about the situation. I don’t think he will be upset or angry with me for what she has to say”, she said in a statement.
Ajay Devgn in his defence had said that he is very sensitive about #MeToo and he fails to understand why an attempt is made to single him out as being insensitive. He had also said that the scenes with Alok Nath had been shot before the allegations, and there was no way he could reverse it.
Ishita Dutta said to that that since Ajay Devgn is not the producer of the film, he cannot be solely responsible for a collective decision.
