IPL6 opening stars: SRK, Tagore and Pitbull

New Delhi, April 2 -- The Indian Premier League this year is slated to open to a unique combination on Tuesday night. Actor Shahrukh Khan will recite legendary poet Rabindranath Tagore's 'where the mind is without fear' backed by music composer Pritam Chakraborty who will render music to another Tagore classic.

Alongside will be international rapper Pitbull who was roped in after singer Jennifer Lopez's act was axed. All the stars will share the 300-feet-long stage, whose look will change every ten minutes, organisers say.

The ceremony is being held at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium, and will inaugurated by the Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee. Perhaps the Tagore touch has been added keeping in mind Banerjee's penchant for Rabindra Sangeet.
