Chris Lynn’s continuance in the season 10 of IPL looks doubtful after the Kolkata Knight Riders batsman hurt his shoulder while diving to take a catch during Sunday’s match against Mumbai Indians.

The Australia dived in the outfield to take a catch of Jos Buttler but couldn’t and was seen clutching his shoulder in pain. He was immediately attended by physio Andrew Leipus and was seen with a ice pack strapped on his shoulder. Also read: IPL 2017: This is how KKR’s Manish Pandey scored 18 off 2 balls, watch video

This was Lynn’s third injury to the same shoulder in two years. He further gave a hint of how serious is the injury by tweeting, “Dear Cricket Gods, did I do something wrong?”

He looked in great touch from just two games for KKR, by scoring 93 not out in the first and a fluent 32 on Sunday against Mumbai. Also read: IPL 2017: Rohit Sharma reprimanded for showing dissent

However, there is no update from the Kolkata camp regarding Lynn’s injury, but if ruled out, it will be a big blow. Last year he scored heavily in the Big Bash League and also made his ODI debut for Australia
