Washington D.C. [USA], Apr. 5 (ANI): Rejoice, earthlings! 'Invader Zim' is the latest animated series to get a Nickelodeon revival.
Nickelodeon gave the green light to a 90-minute TV movie based on the hit cartoon that aired from 2001-2002, the Deadline reported.
The 2D-animated flick from the original creator, Jhonen Vazquez, will showcase the latest ridiculous attempt at world domination by the universe's worst alien invader.
The original voice cast is on board with Richard Horvitz as Invader Zim, Rikke Simons as GIR, Zim's robot servant, Andy Berman as Dib, Zim's arch-enemy and Melissa Fahn as Gaz, Dib's younger sister.
This is Nickelodeon's third animated revival after 'Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie' and 'Rocko's Modern Life.' (ANI)
