Injured peahen rescued by NGO from Mumbai's Raj Bhavan

Mumbai, June 19 (ANI): An injured peahen was rescued by Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) from Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. Peahen injured its leg by falling from height. Anil Bhalerao from RAWW said, "We got a call from Shubham (Resident of Governor Staff quarters). He informed about the peahen's condition. We are taking it to animal doctor for treatment." Dr Reena Dev veterinarian informed that peahen had fallen from height and according to X-rays it seems bird has been hurt on spinal cord. She hinted over nerve damage and informed further investigation is being done to figure out the problem.
