Indo-Oman joint military exercise concludes

A 14 days joint military training exercise between the Indian army and the Royal army of Oman concluded with an energetic parade in Bakloh belt of Himachal Pradesh. Army contingents from both sides conducted a 72-hour-long Validation Exercise as well as helicopter drills and mock counter-insurgency operations. When asked to throw some light Major General of the Indian Army Naveen Kumar said the motive of this exercise was to boost the military ties and friendship between the two countries. The first joint exercise between India and Oman was held in Oman in 2015.
