India's vaccination drive strengthens; DCGI gives EUA for Moderna's COVID vaccine

In a bid to further strengthen India's vaccination drive against COVID-19, a fourth vaccine option is now going to be soon available in India. India has now given a nod for Moderná's COVID vaccine to be imported to India. Moderna's COVID vaccine has now received a nod for Emergency Use Authorization in India. Apart from Covishield, Covaxin, and Sputnik, Moderna's vaccine will now be the next in line. It is also being reported that a nod for Pfizer's vaccine in India is also likely to come soon. Moderna's vaccine is being developed in the United States and will be available in India.
