The Indian cricket team was beaten by a 227-run margin in the first Test against England in Chennai.
India were behind England for most parts of the Test match and a lot of questions were asked with the selection of the team.
Skipper Virat Kohli defended the combination opted for the first Test.

He can be a direct replacement for Nadeem.
Meanwhile, if Axar Patel is fit, he should get in the side.
Sundar should make way after going wicketless in the first Test.
Duo: Rohit and Rahane to keep their places
Rohit will be backed to have another crack at England.
It will be a test of character for Rohit, who needs to be at his best.
Rahane is a weak link against England. His dismal average of 9.14 is baffling.
However, being the vice-captain, Rahane will be backed.
It remains to be seen how he shapes up.
Another failure for Rahane could raise doubts.
