India's health infrastructure on brink: Centre writes Remdesivir national allocation plan to states

States receive allocation plan: The plan by the Health and Family Ministry has been written across the country. It's the first plan which is allocated for the entire country and not individual states. The spread of the virus is no more limited to particular conditions but is spreading worldwide. The allocation is ramped up from 16L to 18L vials across the country. The national pharmaceutical companies have kept stock for the emergency with them, the central government. Each state has received an allocation plan, while Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujrat get the most number of allocations due to the highest number of ongoing cases.
